The Djembao combines pleasant curves of the djembe with the taller height of the timbao. Designed to be played standing up with or without a stand.
Durable
All of our wood work is covered by a layer of translucent fiberglass bonded with epoxy. This stabilizes the wood preventing dimensional changes due to temperature and humidity. All of the hardware is stainless steel. The wood is carefully selected and milled to prevent splits and warps.
Superb Sound
Three main components affect the quality of the drum sound. The bearing surface and its roundness and flatness. The tensioning mechanism and its ability to tune without distorting the head. Finally the body of the drum and its ability to amplify the sound
